I Hate English

I personally do not enjoy reading Shakespeare or anything written by this man. I havn't read a lot of his work and probably wont attempt to read anymore of it. The plays that he wrote were more for the people in his time period. This was the period in time where if you wrote something you had to say thy or bidding all the time to sound smart. Now days if you start speeking that way, people will think your crazy, or they will think you just got back from your spell casting class at Hogwarts. Im not saying Shakespeare is a bad writer, im just saying the schools could make the reading a bit easier and make the plays more modern for young learners like myself.

    Two things, I agree it is not easy to read, but it is beneficial. Secondly, don't worry so much about the helping verbs and pay attention to the nouns and the story line.

    I completely agree with you! Shakespeare's writing should've stayed in his time period. No one talks like that now-a-days!
